WinZip 14 is not a free upgrade. Therefore, registration codes from versions of WinZip prior to WinZip 14 cannot be used to register WinZip 14. If WinZip 14 is installed over an older, existing registered copy of WinZip, an evaluation version of WinZip 14 will be the result. In order to obtain a WinZip 14 registration code an upgrade must be purchased.
Registered users of previous versions of WinZip are eligible to upgrade at 50% of the WinZip list price.

It will be necessary to uninstall WinZip 14 prior to installing the older version. Once the older version has been installed, the registration code for that particular version may be entered. Keep in mind that WinZip 9.0 uses a registration number of 8 digits. WinZip 10 and later uses a registration code of 30 characters.
If WinZip 14 was just purchased, please be sure that WinZip 14 has also been installed and that the correct registration code for the product is being used (it will be 30 characters in length.)
