The best way to remove WinZip E-Mail Companion from your system is to do the following:
First, close all instances of:
- Outlook
- Windows Mail (or Outlook Express)
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Powerpoint
After completing the above items:
Windows 7 or Windows Vista
- Click Start and choose Control Panel
- Click Uninstall a program beneath Programs
Note: If you are not using the Category view, open Programs and Features
- Click the WinZip E-Mail Companion entry in the list of programs
- Click Uninstall
- Click Yes in the User Account Control dialog if it displays
Windows XP or 2000
- Click Start and open the Control Panel
(In Settings for Windows 2000)
- Open Add or Remove Programs
- Click the WinZip E-Mail Companion entry in the list of programs
- Click Remove
The WinZip E-Mail Companion folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\WinZip E-Mail Companion) will be removed immediately and all Companion functionality, menu items, and tool bar buttons will be removed from Outlook.
