WinZip 14.0 has been designed for and is compatible with Windows 7, either 32bit or 64bit. It contains features that take advantage of new features in Windows 7, including:
Libraries
Home Groups
Jump Lists
Multi-touch screens
High DPI awareness

WinZip 12.1 will install and work on either a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows 7 and is basically compatible with it. WinZip 12.1 does not take advantage of any of the new features available in Windows 7 and does have a couple of minor issues.
WinZip 12.1 issues particular to Windows 7 are:
- If more than 16 items have been highlighted the WinZip context menu will not be available.
- The WinZip context menu does not work with libraries.
WinZip versions earlier than WinZip 12.1 are not recommended to be used with Windows 7.
