Starting with WinZip 17, when you open WinZip empty (that is, without opening a WinZip file) the default tab that opens will be the Create tab (upper part of picture). If you open an existing WinZip file, the tab is moved one space to the right and it becomes the Edit tab, to signify that you can edit the contents of an existing file (lower part of picture). The features in this tab are listed by section and described below the picture.

Options: The Options drop down menu allows you to select up to 4 Include zipping options. It also provides options for filtering the files being added. Include options, except for Full Path Information, default to being unselected after WinZip is closed.

Reset Archive Attribute of Added Files
Filters: After creating a filter, it will be listed here and can be selected; or you can click No Filters to turn filtering off
Click Add a Filter to create a new Include filter, Exclude filter, or a combination of both
Click Edit Filters to make changes to filters you created at an earlier time
Click Remove Filters to delete filters you have created and no longer wish to keep
