View Tab - WinZip Ribbon

The View tab of the WinZip Ribbon allows you to change how you see the contents of your Zip file. By default, WinZip chooses your view (Smart View). The View tab makes it possible for you to temporarily change the display or turn off Smart View so that WinZip will always use your preferred view. It also lets you control other open WinZip windows and it offers you the ability to change your WinZip Theme. These settings don't change even after WinZip has been closed. The features in this tab are listed by section and described below the picture.

Display

Classic: This view displays all of the files in a Zip file in a flat (no folders) view
Explorer: This view displays all the files and folders in your Zip file as you would see them in a Windows Explorer folder window
Smart View: When checked, this option allows WinZip to choose the view mode that is optimal based on the types of files and information in the Zip file
Navigation Bar: This check box is only active when using the Explorer view. When checked, this option causes the Address Bar to display.

Arrange

Columns: Select which columns you do or do not want to see in your file listing
Sort: Allows you to specify whether the list of files is sorted by Name, Type, or a number of other choices
Views: Depending on which Display option you selected, you can select how the files in your list appear (Thumbnails, Icons, Details, etc)
Folder Tree: While in the Explorer view, this button will turn an additional left pane on or off

Windows

New Window: Open another, empty WinZip window
Close All: Close all of your open Zip files, leaving one empty WinZip window
Switch Windows: When working with more than one open Zip file, use this button to quickly switch to a different WinZip window

Themes

Choose Theme: Change to another available WinZip theme
Remove Theme: Remove a previously installed WinZip theme
Get More Themes: Open your internet browser to a page where you may download additional WinZip themes
