If you installed a WinZip utility application in order to try a free scan, it is not necessary to make a purchase before uninstalling the application. Please follow these instructions and look for the items pictured.
The best way to remove WinZip Utilities from your system is to use the appropriate applet in the
Control Panel.
Windows 7 or Windows Vista |
Windows XP |
- Click Start and choose Control Panel
- Click Uninstall a program beneath Programs
Note: If you are not using the Category view, open Programs and Features
- In the list that displays, find and click the WinZip utility entry for the program you wish to uninstall
- Click Uninstall
- Click Yes in the User Account Control dialog if one displays

- Click Start and open the Control Panel
- Open Add or Remove Programs
- In the list that displays, find and click the WinZip utility entry for the program you wish to uninstall
- Click Remove

Regardless of the operating system, at this point you should see a dialog similar to the one below.
You may click any of the 3 radio buttons and then click Continue. In the next panel that displays, you will have the option to click the No Uninstall button, which will remove the utility without the need for anything further on your part.
