Association Information

If the Associate WinZip with Archives option is unchecked, you will not be able to double click on Zip files (.zip or .zipx) and other archives to open them. Other features, including Windows Explorer shell extensions, rely on having WinZip^® associated with archives. For more information on associations see the section titled Windows Associations.
